Life’s a Bus Journey

We must accept paying our fee into the world on conception.

The fee of participation in exchange for our freedom of expression. We get birthed in a world who has already defined and decided who our “I” should be, how our “I” should behave, what’s possible for us, constantly dimming the light that shines within, under the shadow of pre-conceptual versions to our wholeness.
Our household knows we’ll have to pay somehow, so they have us play with the bus toy, a little less intimidating version of the reality. Misleading and we know. They Panic.

We must decide our chosen way, knowing at every stop, we would get a chance to change paths or vehicles doing life, if we’re quick enough. Our destination will await us no matter what. The smoothness of the journey comes down to our level of efficiency in choosing our means, by questioning its path at every step on the way.
We wait for the bus.

“Okk, what do I do now?! There’s 2 of the same here!” Though they’re both going in the exact same direction, they might just be two complete different rides, based on the people that were there before us and those who will join after us. Which do we choose, they seem the same.. an endless amount of choices in life. Choosing and not choosing to stop, will both lead to wins and losses, with no way of knowing which.
We chose number one.

We have directors and gatekeepers, who tell you what’s allowed in and whether the fee you’re willing to pay is good enough for your presence in the room, nonetheless neither are the owners, they speak based on what they might say.
We’re in.

Now is our time to decide where to sit, the crowd we ought to share air with and from there accept the limited view our position allows, and the inevitable turnover that space houses.
We sit.

Now that we’ve decided our spot for the journey, we ride keeping an eye on the world going on outside through the window or fall to the trap of our technologies, missing out on opportunities that show themselves on the way.
We watch people getting off and more joining, not really knowing where they’re headed, all together on one ride keeping our anonymity secluded to our seat in fear of confrontation to a different reality.
We travel.

We get closer to our stop and being our first time to this location, we don’t know exactly when or how it’ll happen, so we keep an eye on our device map hoping to catch it in time. Two things usually happen towards the end of life, either others press the button for us or we do it ourself with whatever habits built in our wakeful time, it’ll be our call to stop whatever we’re doing and prepare for our way out.

Many leave sooner, many will stay to continue the journey till the end of time and many more will join the ride after we leave, nonetheless they won’t know of our own personal journey, all we must do is be proud for our contribution and sailing to higher places.
The end.

Love and peace to all of you. Be yourself, always.
