The Narcissist and the God Within: A Final Reckoning
This one’s harder to write.
Because this one implicates me.
The me who wanted to be seen so badly, I over-performed the light.
The me who mistook God energy for god complex.
And couldn’t always tell where one ended and the other began.
Narcissism is not just a trait—it’s a frequency.
And like all frequencies, it can be tuned.
But first, we have to admit: it lives in all of us.
At birth, we are all narcissists.
We cry, we demand, we need. The world revolves around our survival.
And in some ways, it should.
But the tragedy comes when we never evolve past that initial programming—
when the inner child never learns to share the mic with the soul.
Because there are two voices in the room.
One that fears being forgotten.
And one that knows it can never be.
The god complex screams to be seen.
The God self sits in silence, allowing itself to be known.
Not because it needs validation,
but because it remembers: truth echoes, even when whispered.
Having two conversations at once isn’t the issue.
It’s why you’re having them.
Is it a performance… or a prayer?
Are you speaking from fear of being missed,
or faith that your message will land, even without volume?
I’ve done both.
The version of me who tried to conquer others? That wasn’t power. That was panic.
I thought I needed to win love to be worthy of it.
But love isn’t a trophy.
It’s a mirror.
To anyone I’ve tried to conquer with my brightness,
I’m sorry.
I was still learning how to be light without casting shadows.
Still remembering I was a spirit like anyone else,
on my way home.
And here’s where the distinction matters.
The difference between the narcissist and the awakened self?
One evolves. One performs eternity but fears its reflection.
The narcissist can’t risk being foolish on purpose.
They trip only by accident.
They hide behind the illusion of consistency,
terrified their real face might not be applauded.
The narcissist believes there’s a God to them and not within them, and will send out crusades or be the peacock to prove a point. Kill that one within you and you fix the one outside of you. Own your own existence and claim your godly essence, whoever makes you feel bad for stating the obvious. You walk like a duck, speak like a duck, move like a duck. You’re a duck, right?!
One shows off their accomplishments, and one shows people what’s possible in their future. Pick wisely and see the intentions that come with it.
True divinity is foolish on cue.
It dances offbeat, speaks before being understood,
risks humiliation for the sake of heart.
It rewrites narratives not to control perception,
but to harmonize with truth.
The narcissist rewrites the story to avoid accountability, which they perceive as weakness or shame. The real Illusions.
The Light rewrites it to bring healing.
So yes, look at the intention—always.
Two people can do the same thing with wildly different motives.
Only one liberates.
The other manipulates.
This isn’t a witch hunt.
It’s a mirror offering.
We are all the villain in someone’s story and always in our own, until we’re not.
But are we willing to become the light we need?
When I say I’m a recovering narcissist,
what I really mean is:
I’m recovering the child who thought survival meant performance.
I’m recovering the soul who thought being loved required being impressive.
I’m remembering how to communicate without Wi-Fi,
how to trust the field to carry my truth without forcing it down someone’s throat.
Try it.
Send love telepathically.
Catch up with a loved one in the ethers and see what sticks.
We’ve played Chinese Whispers for a reason—
not to distort the message,
but to discover what remains sacred when language gets lost.
This is death and rebirth at its best. Life and Death. Truth and Lies. Love and Fear.
The Devil energy, conquered within.
Not out there. Not in others.
There is no dragon to slay except the one that guards our own mirror.
Goliath was David. The addicted to life, that feared dying and missing out.
So here’s to those brave enough to look.
To hold their own contradictions.
To say, “I once projected, and now I perceive.”
“I once controlled, and now I co-create.”
We’re rolling the carpet out.
Not for kings and queens,
but for soul travelers returning from battle
with their egos softened and their hearts intact.
You were never meant to conquer the world.
Just to meet yourself fully within it.
Welcome back, godling.
Let’s walk in the light—together.
