Choosing Myself: A Journey Back to Wholeness

There’s a quiet kind of power that comes when you stop waiting for the world to choose you. For much of my life, I thought that love, success, and recognition came as rewards from outside—something handed down by others, by institutions, or by society’s standards of worth. What I didn’t realize then was that in all the waiting, I had forgotten the most vital truth: I already had permission. The only choice that truly mattered was my own.

In the video I recently shared, I opened up about this deeply personal and ongoing journey—one of self-discovery, healing, and remembering. For anyone who has ever felt unseen, unchosen, or not enough, I want you to know that I’ve been there too. The turning point wasn’t when someone finally validated me; it was when I decided to stop abandoning myself.

The Work of Wholeness

Healing, especially inner child healing, has been at the core of this shift. Beneath the surface of our adult selves live younger parts of us—those who once learned that safety came from fitting in, shrinking down, or silencing dreams. My younger self longed to be chosen, but what she really needed was my love, my patience, and my recognition. And revoking the sense of authority from the outside, to the inner, understanding that systems don’t work for a reason, the flawed leaders, ignorant leaders, unbalanced leaders.

Choosing myself hasn’t been about arrogance or ego. It’s been about wholeness—about gathering every fragment of who I am and allowing all of me to stand in the light, unashamed. Wholeness is not perfection; it’s integration. It’s holding your scars alongside your gifts, and knowing both have value.

Breaking Free from Expectations

Society has a way of imposing templates: how we should look, live, work, even dream. But the truth is, none of those templates ever fit me. And I suspect they don’t fit you either. They weren’t designed for our uniqueness; they were designed for conformity.

So I began to ask harder questions: Who benefits when I doubt myself? Who gains when I stay silent, when I play small, when I let fear dictate my choices? The answers revealed a sobering truth about authority, power, and the systems we live within. And yet, it also revealed something liberating: I am free to create a new way, by using the old way as my extension tool, the Matrix works for you not the other way around. Guardian of the Ages is one who holds all ages in one, one who’s a bridge to all yet none at the same time, as it’s all.

The Power of Choosing Yourself

Choosing yourself doesn’t mean you stop needing others. It doesn’t mean walking life alone. It means that your foundation is unshakable because it is rooted within. From that place, relationships, opportunities, and dreams blossom—not from desperation, but from alignment.

When you choose yourself, you no longer ask for permission to be whole. You become the permission. You embody it. And in doing so, you give others around you the courage to do the same.

Make it a challenge for people to get close to you, not because you fear being seen, but because you value what you have to give, so you put that has a gatekeeper to validify who gets to come in. If anyone feels inferior it means they might not have the key to come in, cause when you make it hard for people to come in, only the real ones, the aligned ones, the confident ones to come in.

They will always offer themselves, as their value isn’t based on one’s approval or denial of it, it is based on their own self worth, and like I said yesterday one hat is confident in self puts themselves on the line, as the denial is a key to their progress, nothing else, no matter how many people see it as a rejection.

So approach if you must, offer the best deal possible if you must, just know if it doesn’t align it will receive a no and if there’s potential it will get nurtured until it aligns or it gets rejected. I am extremely independent, but that doesn’t make me one who doesn’t need help, it means I see which help that comes is for me, and most feel bad not aligning. I don’t need advice from no one, because no one is living life as a sovereign, until I meet them. But you might need it, yet fear putting yourself on the line to actually reach your highest self.

So who’s capping themselves here?!

Let the best opportunity show itself, and see who wins, I know where the real grass is, and where it’s plastic.

An Invitation

If you’ve ever felt unchosen, I invite you to pause and ask: What would it mean, today, to choose myself? Not in the grand sweeping gestures, but in the simple choices—the boundaries you set, the dreams you allow, the voice you reclaim.

We don’t all manifest in the same way, some might manifest when they’re looking away and some of us manifest while we travel towards it looking right at what we’re “manifesting/remembering”.

This journey is not about becoming someone else. It’s about remembering who you already are. And as I continue to walk this path, I hope my story can serve as a mirror for your own—a reminder that you are already whole, already worthy, already free to choose yourself and the grass is always greener under you.
