The Storage Unit Chronicles

Resilience isn’t a buzzword when you’ve lived like this—it’s muscle, bone, frequency. I slept in a storage unit with my two cats, and I made it work while I built my empire. That’s not shame. That’s my badge of honour.

One day, when I sit across from my wife—especially if she’s the kind of baddie I want—she won’t see a woman who had it easy. She’ll see the one who fought through hell with dignity, confidence, and passion. The woman who never quit, even when she thought about giving up, even when giving away her cats would’ve been the “easier” choice.

Because this is who I am: the one who takes care of her family, her future, her community—no matter the storm.

My greatest discomfort brought me my greatest gift. The absurd, raw, unforgettable stories you can’t buy with comfort became the foundation of my rise. Every resistance, every so-called setback, every night spent on the cold floor was part of the art. The greatest truth of my life is this: I get to live me, Susan Ndinga Wright, every single day.
