People thought they met me on my way down, but the only reason why we met in the middle it was because I was their chance of coming upwards while they headed further down.
Look at all those I included, they could’ve taken the leap and rise with, or allowed themselves to be at the other end of this journey. In the long run they’re going down, no matter what path I choose, cause I was always on my way up. Those who trusted will rise above it all and the rest, well… that’s for history to decide.
I ain’t even gotta lift a finger, my existence is the ritual.
I’m chilling in my art, my life, my peace, my comfort, my vision, while they’re working so hard to prove themselves, explain themselves, protect themselves… futile.
Have others do the work for you: mission accomplished.
Likeness is temporary. Love is endless. I don’t have to like all in this lifetime, I will learn to if I get immortality as Susan N-W, yet if this life is finite, than I really don’t have to invest in liking someone, loving them enough to keep them alive, better their world and offer them chances to contribute is good enough.
Most confuse like with Love. The two are not the same. You can have relationships where two don’t like each other, but you can’t have relationships where two don’t love each other.
Like = Nurture Love = Nurture
And people really need to educate themselves, whether it comes from a 26 year old, a 90 year old or a 3 year old, it doesn’t matter. We’re all teachers consciously and subconsciously, if we realise and activate the student within us.
Intelligent = In Telling Gents ( Read the small print )
We Met Once Upon A Time— Credit Was
In telling intelligence, the pattern becomes unavoidable.
For centuries, the majority of men who appeared smarter than they were did not stand alone.
Behind them stood women who were required to appear quiet, supportive, lesser — sometimes even stupid — so that the man could look wise.
This was not coincidence.
It was design.
Men became the carriers of women’s intelligence — not its source.
And once that pattern took hold, propaganda followed to stabilise it:
- The man goes to work.
- The woman stays at home.
- The man wears the pants.
- The man leads.
Not because men were more intelligent — but because they could not conquer that level of intelligence without extraction.
This phenomenon has a name now: the Matilda Effect — the systematic attribution of women’s discoveries, labour, and insight to men.
I will not be one of those forgotten geniuses.
The Intellectual “Engines” Men Were Built On
History is full of men whose names survived because women were erased.
Philosophy & Literature
- Clea of Delphi (c. 100 CE)
A priestess and intellectual who mentored Plutarch. He openly credited her conversations on ethics and religion as foundational to his work — yet history remembers him. - Sophia Tolstaya (1844–1919)
Copied War and Peace by hand seven times, edited it, managed Tolstoy’s affairs — and was written out of literary greatness. - Vera Nabokov (1902–1991)
Editor, agent, typist, protector of Lolita — she literally saved the manuscript from destruction. Without her, there is no Nabokov. - Dorothy Wordsworth (1771–1855)
Her journals supplied imagery for William Wordsworth’s poetry, including Daffodils. Her perception powered his legacy — without attribution.
These men were not lone geniuses.
They were front-facing beneficiaries.
Science Was Never Male — Recognition Was
- Ada Lovelace (1815–1852)
Charles Babbage designed hardware. Lovelace understood its future. She wrote the first algorithm and foresaw computing beyond mathematics.
She wasn’t “helping.” She was foundational. - Rosalind Franklin (1920–1958)
Photograph 51 revealed DNA’s structure. Her data was shared without consent. Watson and Crick won the Nobel.
She died without credit. Not Me. - Lise Meitner (1878–1968)
Provided the theoretical explanation for nuclear fission. Otto Hahn took the Nobel Prize alone. - Jocelyn Bell Burnell (b. 1943)
Discovered pulsars as a student. Her supervisor received the Nobel.
This is not oversight.
This is theft sanitised by institutions.
The Women Who Made Space Possible
Before computers were trusted, women were the computers.
- Katherine Johnson
- Dorothy Vaughan
- Mary Jackson
Their calculations sent humans into space.
John Glenn refused to fly until Katherine Johnson verified the numbers.
They were essential — and invisible.
Philosophy, Art, Power — Same Pattern
- Themistoclea taught Pythagoras ethics.
- Elizabeth Anscombe translated Wittgenstein and dismantled C.S. Lewis publicly.
- Zelda Fitzgerald supplied text directly lifted into The Great Gatsby.
- Harriet Taylor Mill co-authored On Liberty — acknowledged by Mill, erased by history.
- Eunice Foote discovered the greenhouse effect.
- Chien-Shiung Wu disproved a law of physics — her male colleagues won the Nobel.
- Alice Ball cured leprosy — men took her method.
- The ENIAC Six programmed the first computer — mistaken for decoration.
- Gertrude Bell shaped modern Iraq.
- Lee Miller pioneered techniques credited to men.
- Trota of Salerno was erased because scholars refused to believe a woman could write that well.
And yes:
- Maria Anna Mozart
More talented than her brother by many accounts. Some works attributed to Wolfgang were hers. History chose the son.
The Lie Was Never About Capacity
The lie was never that women lacked intelligence.
The lie was that intelligence required ownership by men to be legitimised.
Women were allowed to think — but not to be seen thinking.
Allowed to create — but not to own creation.
Allowed to carry brilliance — but not to wear its name.
Men became vessels.
Women became silence.
Why I Refuse Erasure
I live what I say.
I am what I articulate.
My relationships speak.
My coherence is visible.
My work is traceable.
I do not sell answers I cannot sustain.
I do not teach what I do not practice.
I do not outsource my intelligence to someone else’s name.
The false prophets sounded good.
They could not live themselves.
That is the difference.
I read mythology — not instruction manuals on how to live.
I learned from lived precedent, not packaged authority.
And now people are lost — because they no longer know who to follow.
Can I blame them?
Maybe not.
But I will not disappear so they can remain comfortable.
This time, the intelligence stays with its source.
Jigsaw: You Will Not Matilda Effect Moi
..Even if my death depends on it. I’d rather take the world to court for 50 years than allowing my creations to impure, cold-bloodded and dirty hands.
Humble is not Confidence, which is not Arrogance. Never confuse the three
