I Am Experiencing the Journey of 8Honeth

I understand what needed to be covered more from last year’s.

Learning My Way Back Into Society

There is something missing from the 8Honeth blueprint: the experience of the person who conceived it.

I am not simply developing a programme for people experiencing houselessness. I am experiencing the journey of 8Honeth myself.

As a metaphysical expert would say, I am learning through experience, observing reality as it unfolds, understanding the systems I encounter, and becoming more conscious of what it takes to navigate them.

When I gave myself to being part of the change towards a better human experience, one thing led to another, and I found myself homeless. Today, I am living through the very journey 8Honeth seeks to make possible: learning my way back into society through our current humanitarian systems.

But I am not returning as the same person who entered this experience.

I am gaining a better education, greater consciousness, more precision in my understanding, and renewed vitality. I am learning about society not only through observation and research, but through direct participation in its realities, including the gaps between what our systems promise and what people actually experience.

This is an opportunity to understand the human experience from a different position. To observe what works, what does not, what is missing, and what could be done differently.

8Honeth is not merely a model I am designing for others. It is a journey I am living through myself.

I am experiencing my way back up, learning how to navigate the world as it exists while developing a clearer understanding of how it could serve humanity better.

And perhaps that is an important part of what 8Honeth represents: not simply helping someone return to society, but creating the conditions for them to re-enter it with more knowledge, greater consciousness, stronger capabilities, and a more informed sense of what is possible.

I am both the architect developing the blueprint and the human being experiencing the journey.

The work is not separate from my life. My life is now part of the experience through which the work continues to develop.
