28 October 2026 | A 24-Hour Commercial Pause

SHS – Human First supports the movement already in motion.

On 28 October, the UK campaign “We’re Not Buying It” is calling for a 24-hour boycott of supermarkets in protest against unaffordable food prices.

This aligns beautifully with what we have been building through SHS: a Basic Human Needs Economy, conscious consumption, and an economic system that serves humanity rather than the other way around.

We encourage everyone who can participate to join this collective demonstration of economic consciousness.

For 24 hours, let our purchasing power speak through its absence.

Because the economy depends on humanity, not humanity on the economy.
