The Superpowers We’re Remembering We Always Had Access To XIV: Trust

The Courage to Anchor What You Cannot Yet See

We speak of trust like it’s a fragile thing.
Something earned, chipped away at, and rebuilt over time with enough silence, enough “proving,” enough unbroken promises.
But what if trust was never meant to be earned?
What if trust is something we give, as the first act of love—not the last?

We’ve been taught to distrust so well, we now hold our hearts like a banker holds the last coin:
“Only if you show me yours first.”
We want to withdraw safety, intimacy, honesty, and presence without inserting the card of our own vulnerability.
It’s like standing at a cash machine, asking for the universe to spit out wholeness, while refusing to enter our own PIN: our truth.

But trust…
Trust is the PIN code to our soul.
And it was never meant to be withheld—it was meant to be the current we swim in.

🕊️ Trust Through the Lens of the 7 Pillars of Life

Trust is not a singular act. It’s a multidimensional presence—woven into every layer of creation.

  • Curiosity invites us to trust what we don’t yet know.
  • Vision asks us to trust what we see internally, even when others can’t.
  • Embodiment challenges us to trust the wisdom of the body, even when the mind is afraid.
  • Nurture teaches us to trust that we are worthy of care, simply because we exist.
  • Truth is the trust that what we feel, see, and sense matters.
  • Harmony is the trust that everything belongs, even what we can’t yet make sense of.
  • Completion is trusting in the divine timing of all things—every cycle, every end, every beginning.

To trust is to walk hand-in-hand with the cosmos as your companion.

🔥 Trusting in a World That Taught Us Not To

We’ve all been burned.
Some of us have known betrayal so sharp it left grooves in the soul.
We’ve trusted and been torn apart. Given and been taken. Spoke and been silenced.

But here’s the wild paradox:

The true superpower of trust is not in avoiding pain.
It’s in daring to keep trusting anyway.

Why not blindly? Why not naively? Isn’t that trust in self and the circumstances we choose to trust in, the very essence that makes us and builds over time?
With the brave, lion-hearted softness of one who chooses to keep their soul open, even after the doors have been slammed countless of times, in countless circumstances. Take per example trusting we were going to have food, shelter and water as a given, incarnating in this plane, only to find structured rules that illude the soul, for its development and expansion.

We often glorify resilience as hardness.
But there’s a deeper kind: the resilience of softness. The resilience of trusting again—not because the world proved itself,
but because you did.

You decided to show up for the possibility of love.
You placed your card into the machine without fear of decline.
You gave trust, knowing it might not be returned.
You became the fire and the container.
The dreamer and the observer.

💭 The Illusion of Distrust

Not trusting is seductive.
It gives the illusion of safety, but really, it just shrinks the soul.
It starves the parts of us that long to leap.

Because if we can’t trust the cloud to float, the sun to rise, the stranger to smile,
we rob ourselves of the miracles that happen between breaths.

The devil, if you believe in that archetype, thrives off our inability to trust.
Not just people—but life itself.
The fear of trusting love, the fear of trusting abundance, the fear of trusting even our own gifts.
We distrust our art, our voice, our own inner timing.
And in that fear, we become watchers of our lives, not the ones living it.

🧬 What Trust Really Is

Trust isn’t passive.
It’s not weakness.
It’s not something you have “after enough time.”
It’s not the absence of risk—it’s the commitment to walk forward even with the risk.

To trust is to say:
“I am willing to find out.”
“I choose to show up, even if I don’t yet know how it ends.”
“I am not giving my power away by trusting—you earn your power by doing so.”

💡 Trust is the Technology of the Soul

Trust is how the soul translates information.
Without it, we can’t read the signs between the signs.
We can’t recognize truth in the silence.
We miss synchronicities, because we don’t believe they could be for us.

To trust doesn’t mean to let anything in.
It means to open the door with discernment.
To feel the wind and say: “Yes. This one.”
To build a foundation not on fear, but on radical self-acceptance and universal faith.

🛤️ So, Why Trust?

Because life without trust… isn’t life.
It’s surviving.
It’s waiting for the other shoe to drop.
It’s bracing for the fall before you’ve ever flown.

Trust is how we learn what’s real.
How we discover who’s for us.
How we heal what’s been broken.
And how we remember what we’ve always known
That our soul didn’t come here to be safe.
It came to be free.

So trust.

Trust the step before the floor appears.
Trust your heart before the “right” words come.
Trust the path even when it vanishes in fog.

Trust is not a weakness.

It is the fiercest, clearest, most radiant superpower you’ve always had.

And you don’t have to earn it.

You just have to use it.
