The Ancient Protection Is Truth

If you try to protect yourself through lies, you will never be ancient.
Lies are new.
Nature preceded nurture.
Nature came first.
Then we nurtured lies.

I have heard so many people say it.

“You are protected by something ancient.”

“You walk with something from a long time ago.”

“You carry something old.”

You know the sentences. The spiritual world has many of them. People feel something, they do not always know how to name it, so they reach for the language closest to mystery. Ancient. Protected. Guided. Chosen. Guarded by something old.

And for a long time, even up until today, I would take the sentence for what it was. I would receive it without questioning it too much, without challenging it, without diving deeper into what was actually being said. I let it sit there as one of those spiritual observations people make when they sense something around you but do not have the vocabulary, the grounding, or the precision to explain what they are sensing.

But then I started looking at it properly.

And I realised: I am that.

I walk with truth.

I walk with clarity.

I walk with authenticity.

I walk with transparency.

Those are the ancient things.

Nothing else.

No strange witchcraft framing. No shamanic costume. No vague mystical fog. No aesthetic of ancientness dressed up as depth. The ancient thing is truth. The ancient thing is clarity. The ancient thing is reality without unnecessary distortion. The ancient thing is alignment before performance, harmony before branding, transparency before manipulation, authenticity before the world learned how to hide behind personalities, systems, religions, ideologies, titles, robes, platforms, and roles.

I am a child of divine alignment. I am a child of divine match. I am a child of a match made in heaven on earth as hell.

Even my parents carried that pattern in the simplest data of their lives.

Their phone numbers were almost the same. If it was not for the last three digits, they had the exact same number. One ended in 215. The other ended in 494. That was the only difference between the two. I never had to memorise two completely different phone numbers. I had to memorise one foundation and two different endings. And this sentencenisn’t just for mobile phones.

What if my mum was on her way back to teach me her ways from Sierra Leone and God, the collective consciousness, hadn’t organised itself yet to house me. Whst would have happened?! What happens to a consciousness not ready to be housed? Not sure, I just know I want my kids to surpass me, to know I succeeded. That’s what they taught me. To surpass the bar of those who came before you. In time, in embodiment and in lifestyle.

That was it.

And guess what?

The three-number difference mirrors the radius between their birthdays.

My dad was born on the 1st of January. My mum was born on the 3rd of January.

Two people, two numbers, one foundation, close endings, close beginnings.

So when people speak to me about ancient protection, I no longer need to imagine something strange standing behind me. I can look at the pattern. I can look at the data. I can look at the continuity. I can look at the alignment that was already there before I was even born, and I can say: yes, I walk with something ancient, because I walk with truth.

And to go back to the initial point, the only thing that makes someone ancient, or makes someone walk with ancient protection, is the fact that they actually practice that protection.

If you try to protect yourself through lies, you will never be ancient.

Lies are new.

Nature preceded nurture.

Nature came first.

Then we nurtured lies. We nurtured delusions. We nurtured distortions. We nurtured the gunk. We nurtured false systems, false identities, false authority, false spirituality, false maturity, false peace, false power, false protection, false intelligence, false progress. We nurtured so much away from nature that people now mistake the artificial for the ancient because it has been repeated for long enough.

But repetition is not ancient.

Age is not wisdom.

Oldness is not eldership.

To be ancient in the real sense, to be elder, not merely older, to be wise, to hold those beautiful ancient-like words with actual substance, is to exorcise your field of the new-age gunk and the old recycled gunk pretending to be original.

Because that is what a lot of the new age is: nostalgia for old gunk, not devotion to original truth.

It does not study the original.

It studies interpretations of the original.

It studies stories about the original.
Aesthetics about the original.
Rituals about the original.
Languages about the original.
Costumes about the original.
Traditions about the original.
Systems built around someone else’s interpretation of someone else’s contact with reality.

But the original still exists.

It is not gone.

It is not hidden in a book only one group can read. It is not locked inside a temple, a ceremony, a robe, a lineage, a title, a platform, a guru, a reader, a priest, a monk, a scientist, a government, or a court.

It is imponderable Earth.

It is still here.

It was here millions of years ago and it is still fucking here.

And because it lives in the Goldilocks zone, because this Earth sits in that delicate band where life can exist, it may be here for millions more years, so far, so long, forever long, as long as we do not destroy it, or as long as we do not create such imbalance that Earth itself sees destruction as the only way back to balance.

Let us hope we never get to that.

But the point is simple: we do not need to go very far.

We do not need to travel across the world to touch the ancient.

We do not need to dress ourselves in someone else’s sacredness.

We do not need to borrow symbols we have not embodied.

We do not need to perform depth.

We need to look at reality.

Reality is the one thing that came first.

Before interpretation, there was reality. Before language, there was reality. Before spirituality, there was reality. Before religion, there was reality. Before systems, there was reality. Before names, there was reality. Before the mind started splitting, categorising, decorating, defending, manipulating, and selling pieces of existence back to itself, reality was already there.

There was reality first.

There was division first.

And if you want to understand unity, look at the divisions.

Look at the separations.

Look at everything that separates one thing from another, and you will begin to understand the unity of everything. Because separation does not disprove unity. Separation reveals the architecture of unity. Division shows you where the whole has expressed itself into parts. The parts show you the whole when you are willing to look without the gunk.

When you look at reality, reality shows itself back to you.

But looking at reality and looking at things inside reality are not the same thing.

Many people do not understand that.

And that is fine.

It is not always their business to know right now. Some things have already been spoken about in so many different ways that those who have ears to hear will hear. And ears to hear are not really about ears. They are about willingness.

Willingness is the door.

Willingness is the thing that stops people.

Willingness is the thing that opens people.

Some people do not lack intelligence. They lack willingness. Some people do not lack signs. They lack willingness. Some people do not lack access. They lack willingness. Some people do not lack evidence. They lack willingness. Some people do not lack truth. They lack the willingness to let truth rearrange them.

So when I say we need to remove the new gunk, I mean we need to remove the illusions we have recently nurtured into authority.

The new way of thinking.
The new distortions.
The new branding.
The new spiritual shortcuts.
The new intellectual arrogance.
The new performance of healing.
The new addiction to interpretation over reality.
The new obsession with looking deep while avoiding the original depth that is literally beneath our feet, inside our bodies, moving through our breath, reflected in nature, shown in consequence, exposed through pattern, and revealed through truth.

Because the new, which is really just the recent, is what keeps us away from the original.

And the original protection was never complicated.

The original protection was walking in truth.

Walking in authenticity.

Walking in transparency.

Walking in harmony.

Walking in alignment.

Walking in reality without needing to lie to survive yourself.

That is ancient protection.

Not because it sounds mystical.

Because it came first.
