There are invitations that arrive by post.

There are invitations that arrive by email.

And then, apparently, there are invitations that arrive from the soul of a Queen.

This Sunday, from 1pm, Queen Victoria is inviting a rather unusual gathering.

Not to a palace.

Not to a ballroom.

Not even for tea.

But to Victoria Park, beside Regent’s Canal.

The purpose?

To converse.

About ideas.
About the world.
About perspective.
About humanity.
About what we have created, what we have inherited, what makes sense, what no longer does — and, most importantly, what we might actually change.

After all, Victoria Park would hardly carry the Queen’s name without her history attached to it. So perhaps her soul is entitled to summon a few people back to the grounds for a conversation about the future.

There is, however, a little riddle involved.

I will be beside the large cut-down tree, somewhere near Regent’s Canal.

You will have to find it.

It stands right in the middle of a large stretch of green, where people tend to sit, while others ride nearby.

A rather peculiar meeting point.

But then again, if changing the world were easy to locate, perhaps we would have done it already. 👑

The practicalities

I am still waiting for my first paycheck, which should arrive in the coming weeks, so let us ground expectations before anyone arrives expecting a royal banquet.

I cannot currently provide food or drinks.

If you want something to eat or drink, bring your own — entirely up to you.

What I can offer at present is approximately 1.5m × 1.5m of blanket for the ground.

That is the extent of the royal hospitality.

No palace required.

Just grass.

A tree.

A canal.

And conversation.

This gathering is for people who are genuinely interested in changing the world and serious about the mission.

Perhaps you want to collaborate now.

Perhaps you might collaborate eventually.

Perhaps you have ideas of your own.

Perhaps you simply want to sit with other people who are actually thinking beyond the boundaries of what already exists.

Come and talk.

Queen Victoria’s soul is sending the invitation.

I shall be there to receive you.

And if nobody comes?

Well…

I shall simply have my regular Sunday sunbath in Victoria Park.

The Queen can keep me company.
