I’m going to do some about this whoke entertainment industry, and if my life depends on it cap it, so that people can truly be educated by something less sensational and more educational. Or watch artists fix their acts. There’s only two timelines here.
The arts might be inspirational, but they’re not educational by nature. In a world where education lacks and creativity precedes, we must ask ourselves what creative arts people consume. I’m deepening a poop I left behind before, about abstract art, it is not just abstract, it is all of it, because it only shiws something to people, like I’m doing here, onky difference is that I’m building towards gaining the resources for it to be functional, tangible imoact. I could never abandon the hats that actually matter for hats that don’t enact change.
Sure we can say a lot of artistic pieces have inspired others, like the names I listed days ago, but let’s be real if the same energy were to have been invested into systematical functions, which only takes education as we all live under it, not a degree. You don’t need to go to law school to learn how the legal system is and how it can be challenged, nor for the political, notlr the economical or financial or scientific or else. One can be creative and still do something tangible, but because we have created a solid industry of it, it justufies talking about it in songs, movies or else, whilst doing nothing about it. It is true actually the stigma so many artists try to beat and if it still exists, maybe the issue isn’t that art isn’t taken serious, it is that people in the arts don’t take serious what they are capabke of and only selfishky see their own chisen art to be the only way gor them to apply themselves.
Imagine everyone was to turn an artist tomorrow. Notjing will get done, because artists don’t get fight in court of laws even if theirs lives depend on it. They don’t challenge politiicians and risking hurting their sponsorships, and I don’t mean with a painting oflr song like those who inspired me.
I got inspired because tbe talk is wealthy but their doings were cheap. Talking doesn’t solve, unless education, deepended education solves it. I don’t know if Lucky Dube tried to change laws and things like that, I onky know of their songs. But his reach wasn’t the same as those today with technology and still trying to convince themselves they have the same responsibikitily as artists who didn’t have internet.
Laziness, fear of expisure, choice to stay ignorant and more, aren’t good enough reasons for the world to eat their shit, no matter how glamorised it is, how good it sounds, how well it is presented. Still shit it is. Just like poop it goes down the drains of our perceptions, and if audiances don’t see their inspiration doing much about things, there’s not much they’ll feel called to do either.
