🏛️ The Berne Convention (1886, latest revision 1971, Paris)

Got You All! Thank Uncle Berne!

As no engagements have been done to this day, I class everything I write as artistic creation, even these words here. All of it. If any of my creations has been used outside of these premises, without any communication or notice, as mentioned again prior, check the blog post at end of page, well consider yourselves served officially. Investigations will lead to you, so I don’t need to chase you now, time will lead me to you.

And with Techonology, we don’t even have to worry about where it comes, it’s been written, sealed and delivered. Remember those other members of our consciousness, who thought could just abuse my creations and walk freely, well. They’ve all been pre-served, we’ll see their next moves.

🏛️ The Law: The Berne Convention (1886, latest revision 1971, Paris)

  • Article 5(2) of the Berne Convention states: “The enjoyment and the exercise of these rights shall not be subject to any formality.”

In simple terms:
➡️ The moment you create an original work — whether it’s writing, art, music, video, or any other creative expression — you automatically own the copyright, as long as it’s fixed in a tangible form (written down, recorded, saved digitally, etc.).
➡️ You do not have to register it, publish it, or mark it with a © symbol for your rights to exist (though doing so helps prove ownership).

🌐 Administered by

  • WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization)
  • A specialized agency of the United Nations (UN)

⚖️ What You Automatically Own

Under Berne Convention protections, you automatically gain:

  • Exclusive rights to reproduce, distribute, perform, display, and adapt your work
  • Moral rights — the right to be credited as the author and to object to distortion or misuse of your work

✳️ Summary

Law: Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
Article: 5(2)
Adopted by: WIPO (UN agency)
Effect: Automatic copyright protection from the moment of creation
