Before You Turn Up the Volume, Know What You Are Amplifying

Reverse engineer retaliation, all kinds of it, from the loudest to the quietest, the most insedious one, holding Truth(other word for clarity) back.

If you have just decided to start a business, enter a new career, pursue a promotion, build an audience or make more money, this is for you.

Before you begin, challenge your intentions. Challenge your desires. Challenge your dreams. Ask why this particular achievement has become the achievement you want.

What do you expect it to give you permission to do? Who do you imagine becoming once people recognise you? What do you want to contribute—and what do you want to finally get away with?

That last question matters just as much as the others.

This is education in prevention. You can examine these things at any stage, but there is value in doing so before the opportunities arrive, before the attention becomes distracting, before your unexamined desires acquire the resources to act.

Money and fame are loudspeakers. Before you pursue the volume, investigate the voice.

People say money does not change who you are. What I want us to examine is how much it gives expression to what was already there.

If you have ten things you want to do but cannot afford, access to money can give those ten intentions somewhere to go. Alongside them may come desires you had never properly recognised, questioned or accounted for.

An absence of opportunity is not the same as an absence of desire.

Someone may appear restrained while having very little room to act. What happens when that room expands? What happens when they can afford to follow an impulse, command attention or surround themselves with people who rarely disagree?

The loudspeaker becomes useful here as a way of understanding success: it makes more of what is underneath audible. People can also learn and change. That is precisely why examining what is emerging matters.

Your pursuit of success is a resilience test.

At every stage, something may challenge your process: rejection, delay, temptation, praise, competition, convenience.

Praise deserves a place on that list. Sometimes the test arrives as applause for the very thing that is pulling you away from your purpose.

Can you get from point A to point B with the integrity of your original intention intact? Can you improve your methods without quietly replacing your purpose? And if examination shows that your starting intention was flawed, can you take responsibility for revising it?

Resilience includes knowing what deserves to remain and what needs to change.

I am speaking from my own experience, alongside experiences others have described. When you are producing, there is always something asking for your attention: likes, follows, comments, expectations, the pressure to remain interesting.

You are trying to provide something for the audience watching now while creating something needed by the audience that comes later. Those demands do not always agree.

Without examination, you can begin serving the response instead of the reason you started.

And fame does not have to mean red carpets. Fame can be any meaningful increase in recognition: becoming known locally, gaining influence in your workplace, becoming the person everyone listens to in a particular room.

I have met local celebrities with more warmth and presence than people celebrated on a much larger stage. The size of the audience tells us very little about the quality of the person.

What comes through when attention increases?

Do you become more generous with your access? More possessive of it? More curious? Less willing to be questioned?

If someone already uses a small amount of influence selfishly, further influence gives that behaviour more reach unless they examine and change it. Other people may end up carrying consequences that the person enjoying the power barely encounters.

That is why I pay attention to how people behave at the level they already occupy. There is information there. We do not have to wait for the biggest possible consequences before taking it seriously.

The same examination applies to me.

I spend time accounting for what I put out because my work also reveals me. I need to recognise where I embody what I am saying, where I fall short, and what my reactions disclose.

Accountability becomes meaningful when it reaches beyond explaining yourself. It asks you to recognise your effects on other people and make changes where necessary. A person can speak extensively about themselves while avoiding that responsibility.

What you focus on shapes what you notice, practise and make available to others.

In my work, I try to hold many dimensions in view: the individual, the systems around them, daily life, and how consciousness can be grounded in the mundane.

My standard is to “hit infinity” with every production. That is how I describe my ambition to create something with many points of relevance, something people can encounter from different positions and still find clearly expressed meaning within.

That ambition also demands precision. If I want my work to reach widely, I have to take responsibility for how I channel it and how I live it.

Clarity is central to that responsibility.

I see too many incentives for keeping people confused: presenting desire as need, selling approval as worth, making dependence look like aspiration. Confusion can make people easier to influence and less able to recognise what they are participating in.

So, before you pursue success, ask yourself:

What am I hoping this achievement will prove about me?

Would I still value the work if nobody applauded it?

Do I want resources to contribute, or do I want power over how other people see and treat me?

How do I respond when someone questions my intentions?

Which desires have I mistaken for a purpose simply because I have never challenged them?

Who might carry the consequences if I refuse to examine myself?

These questions matter before the pressure begins. They matter again when the answers become inconvenient.

I have also learned to value clear accounts of difficult interactions: what happened, what was said, what I understood, what I can substantiate, and what remains my interpretation. Speaking honestly matters most when I apply that precision to my own participation too.

Someone’s defensiveness does not, by itself, establish their motives. My certainty about an interaction does not remove the need to examine it. Clarity has to withstand those distinctions.

Telling the truth cannot guarantee protection from retaliation or misrepresentation. But a clear, consistent account can make distortion easier to identify. And refusing to distort your own account is part of the responsibility you are asking others to accept.

That is the preparation I am talking about.

Before you ask for more money, more reach, more authority or more attention, investigate what you intend to do with the access.

You are preparing to give your intentions a larger field of action. Know what they are before other people have to live with their consequences.

…

So we’re gonna write this piece, which is all about educating people on having them challenge their own intentions, having them challenge their own desires, having them challenge their own dreams, having them challenge the intentions with which they want to get themselves into fame or money. And this is an education; it’s in prevention. So it’s not when someone is already through the thick of it, but it’s also applicable in other stage as well. But this is the focus, is on those who are about to go into it, meaning who’s now just now decided to be, for example, an entrepreneur, or who just now has decided to go into a new career, or aim for a promotion, or whatever the case might be. This is a post that we want to have ready for those that might come across it at this specific moment in time, just before they begin their own resilience test, meaning the process of becoming successful at whatever they might put their eyes on. And I call it resilience test because at every stage of it there will be some things that challenge its process, but the challenge itself is also part of the process because it’s the one thing that allows you to get from point A to point B with the exact same intentions as point A. And we hear a lot of people saying, well, obviously we’ve heard, we hear different people from different circumstances saying that money doesn’t change who you are. And it’s true. It is very true. Money, fame, all these things are just speakers. They heighten, they make whatever that’s beneath it louder, and that’s why it’s super important that one goes to dissect their own reasonings, their own judgments, their own intuitions, perceptions, intentions, and reasonings for a specific achievement to be the achievement, basically challenging one’s purpose. Because only in doing so one can actually see what fame and money is going to raise the volume on, you know? Because when those things go unnoticed, go unchecked, then they just speak for us through the speakers, and the speakers are money and fame, attention, whatever. Because when someone is in the thick of it, the distraction is clear, in the sense of the distraction is producing, the distraction is the likes, the distraction is the follows, the distraction is the comments, the distraction is the wanting to provide to the audience that’s watching in the now what they might find interesting whilst creating what’s needed for the audience of the later. I’m speaking about my own experience, whilst also integrating the experience of so many more that have already spoken upon the same thing. And there’s so many things when you’re either with money or with fame that… And fame is any more attention than one had before. It doesn’t have to be, like, red carpet type of fame. Being a local celebrity is a fame as its own, you know? And I’ve met so many local celebrities, and they are just so fun. And honestly speaking, most of them are even better than the red carpet celebrities. And it’s about what comes out in those moments, because the second nature is the nature that we had within at starting point. And then the motion of what we go through is the deliverance of what we perceive to be correct at that specific moment in time, and based on the things that we put our focus on. If you put your focus on ten things, you’re gonna be able to provide for ten things at once. If you put focus on one thing, you can only produce for that one thing. So I practice making sure that I produce for as many as possible. My standard is to hit infinity with every production that I make, and that’s because each individual will see what they are in alignment with, but I’m providing something that’s already clear on its own. It’s applicable to everyone because it is human, and it is clear towards the systems that we live in. It is clear towards the day-to-day lives. It is clear towards how to ground consciousness in the mundane. It’s just clear-cut clarity. And that is the only thing that one… Well, by my own standards, it is the one thing that we should all prioritize, as we live in a society that prioritizes its opposite. It actually prioritizes hiding clarity, hiding truth, hiding everything that life is because it is not profitable, basically. Now, when we look at money and fame, we really, really, really, really need to start accepting that they do not change who you are. It only brings out more of who you are because it gives access to who you are to come out and engage with the outside world even more. Meaning that if you have ten things that you want to do, but you don’t have the financial resources to do so, when you do have those resources to do so, then the version of you who would have wanted to do those ten things will come out. And with it also the version of you that you didn’t necessarily ponder upon, that already had their own individual desires. Not to say that people have different personalities within themselves, but people have desires that they haven’t challenged, that they haven’t necessarily recognized within themselves. So those desires will still come out. And that’s why it’s important to assess the things that do come out, because in sight of what does come out, you can see more of what created something that was within. That’s why I spend so much time accounting for myself and taking the responsibility of everything that I put out. I also, in it, mention where I embody it, because it’s super important to see everything that does come out. Because infinity will come out of me simply because I am trying to produce for infinity. So infinity will naturally come out. It’s how I channel that. It’s how I handle it. It’s how I go about it, especially in my day-to-day life, that makes the difference of character, right? And unfortunately, most people, to most people, but fortunately for humanity, it’s once you understand and you accept that money and fame are only a alto parlante, then you can accept and see more clearly who people are and who people would be at even different extension—not different extension, sorry—different intensities. Meaning if someone is like maybe, like, 30% of either fame or money expansion, and you need to start looking at them: who is it that they are at this stage? Because if their trajectory grows even more, then whoever they are at that current moment in time will simply expand, meaning that if someone is selfish at 30%, if you give them more fame and more money, at 70% they’re gonna fucking take over the whole thing for self, not for others. And the others will have to be the ones to carry the consequences of their selfishness, not them, because selfishness is one that isn’t accountable to self, because the two don’t go hand in hand. One isn’t selfish whilst accounting for self. If one accounts for self, and is responsible with that, that means that they’re already doing a work and something that is altruistic, because in order to self-account, you have to look at thyself, and in order to do that, you have to look at what exists. Many won’t understand that, and that’s completely fine, because we will spend time to explain that specific aspect at a later stage to bring more clarity to that. And again, now we’re giving also clarity on where does that one specific thing is argumented and is brought into the conversation. Why? Because we care about clarity, nothing else. Confusion is what breeds criminality, for example, because if someone is confused by something, they might fall into criminality without even realizing it. If I hadn’t been discerning, that person would have allowed me to fall—not would have allowed me—would have created the circumstances. If I hadn’t spoken about my own truth throughout this whole period, that person could have easily, so easily—what’s it called? How do you say it? Sue me for harassment or something like that, just like the prior one, you know? But because I was honest in the end this time, I was not employed by someone, meaning that, and in that case, I was not employed by someone who was also held accountable and had the reason to be spiteful, who— even the whole was super messy in the ways in which they handle things, but that’s another conversation for another day. It’s already been mentioned, so it doesn’t need to come back in the future. But this person could have easily just for their own desire of attention and for their own desire of not being challenged, because of innate things. I know for a fact what part of them hates being challenged. It’s already been shown. It’s already been spoken about, the British aspect of people. And again, I was literally having multiple conversations where people, every time that you just ask questions and you start investigating the British, they just take on a defensive. They feel like, I don’t know, you’re trying to expose something out of them. Well, that is what truth-bearing is. That’s what accountability is. That’s what responsibility is. If they don’t know that, then we have to actually ask that questions: what are we actually talking about? What are people talking about with each other, you know? And what type of relationships are created with them. But again, that’s another conversation again. When it comes to someone speaking your own truth, speaking your own truth is what will allow you to, and with clarity is what will allow you to protect yourself from those who are happy or satisfied with seeing you go down simply because you’ve challenged them. You know? Let me repeat that: your truth is the only thing that will protect you from those who you challenge, who will be so happy and satisfied with seeing you crumble, with seeing you go down, with seeing you locked up, for something that they had direct contribution in the creation of, because they were fearful of the exposure that you brought to their doorstep. Simple as that.
