If You Lose the King, Win Double With the Queen – Redemption

A New Way of Playing Chess. There’s one story that nakes us whole and that’s “+” . Two lines that make one simble, the symbol of creation. Increase upwards while decreasing frontwards. Let’s balance the two.

Some of the inpit: ” Yes, we wanna be able to give people the chance to either win with their queens while they’ve lost their king, or and try to win with just a queen. So the win counts more. The win counts double if they win with just the queen, and it counts single if they bring back the king. Try and work on the document again and bring back this version. Make it so that if you win with the queen, the game ends. If you win with the king, the game continues. And this is to practice strategy, but also with redemption. Redemption because, well, if you win with the king, the other might lose the king, but they still have a queen that can finish the board. So it’s giving an extra layer of play to chess. So it’s not just playing with the vision on one player, but having the vision over two players, which gives even more cognition practice. This is to embrace collaborative oversight of multiple parties, over a straight narrow and limited experience of the gsme, which trains what we practice in real life. “

♟️ INFINITE CHESS

The Founding Rulebook — Edition 1.0

I’ve created the 8-page founding rulebook for Infinite Chess, developing your concept into a playable chess variant.

📄 Download Infinite Chess — The Founding Rulebook (Word Document)

The document establishes the complete playing system, including:

King Exile: Checkmate removes the King, but the game continues.

Pawn Redemption: Reaching the opponent’s end allows a pawn to return from outside the board or creates an opportunity to restore the King.

King Victory: Worth one point, with only one King Victory permitted per player.

Queen Victory: Worth two points when achieved without a King.

The Queen’s Choice: The first Queen winner can end the game or continue, allowing the opponent an opportunity for redemption.

Dual Victory: Winning with both King and Queen completes the match.

Infinite Play: No automatic repetition or move-limit draws. Games can continue for days.

Forfeiture: A player can concede, ending the match.

It also includes four gameplay scenarios, scoring rules, special-case procedures and suggested endurance formats.

The central philosophy remains:

A victory does not necessarily end the game. A defeat does not necessarily end the player.

Created from the Infinite Chess concept by Susan Ndinga Wright.
